Очень подробный вывод информации о вашем железе

Есть замечательная утлита, которая обзывается lshw. В консольном режиме она выдает информацию о CPU, материнской плате, носителях и HDD, конфигурацию ядра, тайминги памяти и другие. В некоторые дистрибьютивы Linux lshw поставляется по умолчанию, но в Dbian его не оказалось. Для установки ставим пакет lshw:

aptitude install lshw

Запускаем утилиту, написав там же в терминале lshw, после чего сразу читаем готовый отчет.

В итоге получается вот такой отчет:

    Весь отчет в программе putty у меня в окошко не влезал, а нужно было посмотреть как встала новая планка оперативы.
    Вот как можно вывести гайд:
    # lshw -help
    Hardware Lister (lshw) – B.02.14
    usage: lshw [-format] [-options …]
    lshw -version

    -version print program version (B.02.14)

    format can be
    -html output hardware tree as HTML
    -xml output hardware tree as XML
    -short output hardware paths
    -businfo output bus information

    options can be
    -class CLASS only show a certain class of hardware
    -C CLASS same as ‘-class CLASS’
    -c CLASS same as ‘-class CLASS’
    -disable TEST disable a test (like pci, isapnp, cpuid, etc. )
    -enable TEST enable a test (like pci, isapnp, cpuid, etc. )
    -quiet don’t display status
    -sanitize sanitize output (remove sensitive information like serial numbers, etc.)
    -numeric output numeric IDs (for PCI, USB, etc.)

    Основываясь на этом гайде прописал:

    # lshw -class memory

    И как итог узнал краткий список того, какое железо у меня стоит

    Угу. В плюс – lshw умеет делать отчеты в html. Делается очень просто: lshw -html
